E Block Redevelopment
Hutt Valley High School and the Ministry of Education are preparing for the upcoming redevelopment of E Block. This project will deliver a brand-new two-storey building featuring 16 general teaching spaces for English and Mathematics classes, and two dedicated staff workrooms to support our students and school community.
The planning and design phase for the E Block redevelopment is currently underway, with construction due to commence in April 2027. The target completion date for the build is July 2028. During the construction phase we are committed to minimising disruption to our surrounding neighbours. During the construction period (April 2027–July 2028), standard site management controls will be implemented to manage traffic, noise, and site access safely.
