Our school year consists of four terms, each approximately 10 weeks long. Students can begin school at any time; however, starting in February allows them to access all the subjects, sports, and clubs we have available.

Term 4 Programme for International Students
Hutt Valley High School runs a 4-week activities programme for all non-NCEA international students throughout November. The programme is a combination of outdoor education, team projects, volunteer work, school based activities, overnight trips and personal development.
The first three weeks of term 4 consist of regular classes and then the 4-week programme commences after that. A full programme will be made available before the end of term 3. The cost of the programme is included in the tuition fees.
