Description

• College Sport Wellington has a Bowls Development Officer who focuses on making bowls fun and friendly for students Competitions are played at Massey Avenue Bowling Club in Woburn (a short 10-minute walk from Hutt Valley High School).
• Teams play in pairs in Term 1 (Years 9-13).
• Participants play singles, pairs or triples depending on numbers present on the day in Term 4.
• Bowls competitions are played on Thursdays afternoons from 4:00-5:00pm in the Interschool Hutt Valley Competition.
• No experience is required.

• Hutt Bowling Club, 6 Myrtle Street, Hutt Central, Lower Hutt.

Competition Key Dates

• Have A Go Event on Thursday, 12 February 2026 (venue and time to be confirmed).
• College Sport Wellington (CSW) Term 1 competition starts on Thursday 19 February 2026.
• CSW Championships, Tuesday 31 March 2026 (venue and time to be confirmed).
• CSW Term 4 Competition starts on Thursday 22 October 2026.
• CSW Junior Tournament, Tuesday 17 November 2026 (venue and time to be confirmed).

• HVHS PE shirt, black shorts and flat-soled shoes.

• Sports footwear with flat soles.
• Bowls are provided by the club.
