1st X1 Boys and Girls Teams travel to NZSSC during Winter tournament week – approximate cost per student $1000

Grades are – Premier 1 and Premier 2, Collegiate 1-10. There is also a mixed team competition and social teams for students wanting to play for fun.
Description
HVHS has approximately 6 teams each year, a combination or Premier & Social teams.
Girls play – Tuesdays or Wednesdays after school.
Boys play – Saturday mornings.
SOCIAL TEAM SET UP – Students may make up a Social Competitive team of at least 16 players, but at the time of entering their team, they must also nominate a competent adult coach / manager to attend their games. Each team will also be required to source and provide a referee for their games each week. All players must complete an individual online registration and then early 2024 teams will collect a Special form from the Sports Office to complete. Training is optional for these teams.

Venue
All games are on a home and away basis either at HVHS or other secondary schools within the Wellington Region.
Uniform
Team football strips are provided for a $30 hire fee.
1st X1 Boys & 1st X1 Girls – Tops & shorts provided – Two pairs of socks required
Social teams – shirts are provided and some shorts – Black shorts are requested
Equipment
Players must provide their own boots and shin pads.
