No registration is currently required for Athletics.
Students need to be a member of a club, and the selection process is through school-wide events.
Athletics Day
Full School Athletics Day – Wednesday 24 February at the Hutt Recreation ground (postponement date 25 February).
Athletes who qualify through Wellington Regional Champs also compete at the North Island Champs in March, this is a Wellington team, and the school does not necessarily take the students. Families may be required to assist in this.

Uniform
HVHS Sport Singlet and plain black shorts (a small number are available to be loaned out on competition days).
Equipment
Own running shoes or spikes.
Field event equipment is supplied.
2026 Athletics Registration
