Description
Full school Athletics Dayis Thursday, 6 March 2025 (postponement date is Tuesday, 11 March 2025) at the Hutt Recreation Ground
Athletes who qualify through the Wellington Regional Championships compete at the North Island Championships in April. Athletes will compete as part of the Wellington team, and the school may require families to assist with transport.
Competition – Key Dates
Athletes with a Disability (AWD) selection meeting, Newtown Park, Friday 28 February 2025.
College Sport Wellington Regionals, Newtown Park, Thursday 20 March 2025.
North Island Championships, Porritt Stadium, Hamilton, Saturday 5 April to Sunday 6 April 2025.
New Zealand Secondary Schools Athletics Championships (venue & timings – to be confirmed).
Uniform
HVHS Sport Singlet and plain black shorts – a small number of uniforms are available on loan on competition days
Equipment
Own running shoes or spikes. Field event implements supplied.
