Games are played in Secondary schools within the Wellington region – (extending as far as Kapiti) during Terms 2 & 3.
Seniors (Years 11-13) play on Fridays 6:00pm-9:00pm starting 1 May 2026.
Juniors (Years 9-10) play on Tuesdays from 4:00pm-7:00pm starting 28 April 2026.

NZ Secondary Schools 3×3 Regionals – Zone 3 in Walter Nash Stadium (Taitā), 23-24 March 2026.
Senior Boys and Girls basketball teams compete in the Whanganui High sports exchange – 9 June 2026 with Whanganui High is hosting in 2026.
College Sport Wellington (CSW) Junior Finals – Walter Nash Stadium on 18 August 2026.
CSW Senior Finals – Ākau Tangi Sports Centre (Kilbirnie) on 21 August 2026.
3×3 Junior Tournament – Walter Nash Stadium (Taitā) from 16-19 November 2026.
New Zealand Secondary Schools (NZSS) Winter Tournament Week – Senior Girls, 2 August 2026 to 4 September 2026 at Central Energy Trust in Palmerston North.
NZSS Winter Tournament Week – Senior Boys, dates and location to be confirmed.
Uniform
$30 (hire fee) available from the Resource Centre.
Equipment
Footwear suitable for use in the gymnasium.
Training and match balls are supplied.
Mouth guards are mandatory.
Training & Trials
Trial dates to be confirmed in 2026.All teams will be allocated training time in the HVHS Gyms.
