| 2025 Dragon Boating Registration Information | - Register for 2025 took place in Term 4 prior to our Year 12 students finishing their school year. Registration for 2025 is now closed.

| Cost | - $150 (covers team singlet, all training sessions, boat hire and two events)
|
| Description | - Students must be able to swim at least 50 meters in open water in a buoyancy aid
- No previous experience is required
- Don’t sign up if you can’t commit; students must commit to attending all trainings and events.
- Minimum 10 girls paddling in each team
- 1 Drummer per team (this role sits at the front of the boat with a loud voice directing the paddling)

| Venue | - For ALL training & events – Frank Kitts Park, Wellington Lagoon, Lambton Harbour

| Competition Key Dates | - Event 1 – Harbour Fun Day, Saturday 15 February 2025
|
| Uniform | - Dragon Boat team singlet and black shorts – these will be ordered once the team has been finalised
|
| Equipment | - Paddles and buoyancy aids are provided for all students
- Students must bring a warm, dry change of clothes for post-training
- No long pants, no bare shoulders. A polyprop/thermal top is essential, long-johns recommended, shorts & shoes which will get wet!

| Training | - Transport – students must source their own transport to and from training and events.
- Training Days are Mondays 5:00–6:00pm as scheduled at Frank Kitts Park Lagoon and the Harbour Front
