Description
Student participation in the weekly and one–off tournaments will rely on assistance from parents and caregivers to help transport students to venues and, as required, support at the events. Students are required to find their own transport to tournaments and events.
Weekly competition, Mondays after school in Term 1. Start time – 4.00pm.
A 9–hole Stableford competition is played against other local colleges. The Stableford format of the competition means that play is in fours, with 2 players from each college.
Information on upcoming Junior and Senior golf tournaments will be confirmed once details are finalised.
Players must be a member of a Golf Club.

College Sport Wellington Individual & Team Championships on 10 March 2026 (location to be confirmed)

Uniform
Neat and tidy golf attire.
HVHS PE Top or Golf Polo to be purchased.
Flat–soled shoes are strongly recommended, as spiked or studded sports shoes can damage the greens and should not be worn.
Equipment
Students must have their own golf clubs.
Participants must also have an official golf handicap.
Training& Venues
Students are to practice in their own time and must be a member of a Golf Club.
Golf played at a range of Hutt Valley Golf courses.
