Costs
$60 per term with summer sports payments due by Friday, 20 February 2026.
If selected, additional costs per event or tournament costs are charged e.g. entry fees, transport and accommodation (if applicable).
Fundraising is advised and can be organised through a parent group. Please contact the Sports Office for more information.
Events
Hutt Valley Zone Touch Competition runs Tuesdays after school for Seniors (Years 11-13) in Term 1 and Juniors (Years 9-10) in Term 4.
College Sports Wellington (CSW) is organises Senior and Junior Tournaments.
Competitions played at Fraser Park, Avalon.
Social Team Set Up – Students may make up a Social Competitive team of at least 10 players, but at the time of entering their team, they must also nominate a competent adult coach / manager to attend their games. All players must complete an individual online registration and then early 2026 teams will collect a Special form from the Sports Office to complete. Training is optional for these teams.

HVHS singlets are worn by Premier teams.
HVHS PE shirts and black shorts for Non-Premier Teams.
Sports shoes must be worn.
HVHS provides teams with touch balls and a first aid kit.
