| Costs |
- $120 All other teams
- $180 Premier 1 Teams
- Additional costs per event or Tournament costs are charged extra – Entry fees, transport and accommodation where applicable
- Premier A team travel to NZSSC during Winter tournament week – approx cost per student $1,000
- Fundraising is advised and can be organised through a parent group. Please contact the Sports Office for more information.
- Payments for winter sports are due by 27 April 2025

| Description |
- The time of day and venue depends on the grade in which the team is placed.
- School teams play in Collegiate grades against other school teams.

- Premier 1st Team Competition – Monday evenings at St Oran’s College, Lower Hutt
- All other grades play on Saturday – at either Taita Courts or Taita College (depending on the grade)
- Grades are – Premier 1 and Premier 2, Collegiate 1-10. There is also a mixed team competition and social teams for students wanting to play for fun.
- Students can make up with own team from Year 10-13 with 10 players (or less) in consultation with the Sports Office.
- Each student regardless of team must register through the registration link.

| Managers & Coaches |
- All teams would benefit from having a coach – if you would like to assist in this area, please contact the Sports Office on sport@hvhs.school.nz
- All teams will require a manager. Typically, a manager will be able to help with organising the team on game day and assist with a scoring team.
- Managers and Coaches are required to be police vetted. Forms can be completed at the front office.

- Premier 1 & 2 teams compete in the Whanganui Sports Exchange, in 2025 HVHS is hosting, 10 June 2025
- CSW Junior A Tournament, Ākau Tangi Sports Centre (Kilbirnie) – 5 June 2025
- CSW RSSL Finals, Ākau Tangi Sports Centre – 18 August 2025
- Lower North Island Tournament – Premier 1 – Arena Manawatū, Palmerston North, 24 – 28 August 2025

- Closed Premier Trial, Back-Up Date (if required), Tuesday 11 March, HVHS Gym
- Final trial for team selection for teams under Prems and students trialling for teams (non-self select teams), Sunday 23 March 2025, HVHS Gym

- Year 9 Skills Session – Thursday 13 March 2025, 3:30pm – 5:00pm
- Open Trial Years 9 & 10, Junior A & B and 10A & 9A – Sunday 16 March 2025, 9:30am-12:00pm
- Closed Trial Years 9 & 10, Junior A & B and 10A & 9A – Sunday 23 March 2025, 3:30pm-5:30pm
- Remaining Year 9 & 10 Players, Thursday 27 March, 3:30pm-5:30pm
- It is encouraged that players not wishing to be considered for Premier 1 & 2, Junior A & B, 10A and 9A consider putting together their own team.

| Uniform |
- Black skirt and top can be purchased from the Resource Centre (either new or hired)
- Premier 1, Premier 2, 10A and 9A teams are required to hire HVHS Netball dresses.
- Some Senior teams will also wear dresses depending on numbers.

| Equipment |
- Each team is provided with a Gear bag – containing practice & match ball / 2 sets bibs / first aid kit
- Individuals require drink bottles and sports shoes
|
| Trainings |
- All grades will train with days and times confirmed by the coach/manager once teams are finalised.
