Premier 1st Team Competition – Monday evenings at St Oran’s College, Lower Hutt.
All other grades play on Saturday – at either Taita Courts or Taita College (depending on the grade).
Netball grades are Premier 1, Premier 2 and Collegiate 1-10. There is also a mixed team competition and social teams for students wanting to play for fun.
Students can make up with own team from Year 10-13 with 10 players (or less) in consultation with the Sports Office.
Each student regardless of team must register through the registration link on this page.
Managers & Coaches
All teams would benefit from having a coach – if you would like to assist in this area, please contact the Sports Office on sport@hvhs.school.nz.
All teams will require a manager. Typically, a manager will be able to help with organising the team on game day and assist with a scoring team.
Managers and Coaches are required to be police vetted. Forms can be completed at the front office.

It is encouraged that junior players not wishing to be considered for Premier 1 or 2 to consider putting together their own ‘choice’ team. To register your own ‘choice’ netball team please contact the Sports Office early in 2026 to collect a Social Team form.

Uniform
Black dresses can be purchased or hired from Resource Centre.
Premier 1, Premier 2, 10A and 9A teams are required to hire HVHS netball dresses from Resource Centre.
Equipment
Each team is provided with a Gear bag – containing practice & match balls, two sets of bibs and a first aid kit.
Individuals require drink bottles and sports shoes.
Trainings
Premier 1 trainings will be on Thursdays from 5:30pm-7:30pm and Sundays 3:00pm-5:00pm.
All other grades – training days and times to be confirmed by the coach/manager once finalised.
